The Inspire Research Symposium aims to foster student engagement in research and provide a platform for students to showcase their work. Join us at this inaugural symposium to connect with peers and present your research in our student poster showcase.
Poster Presenter Application
Please complete the poster presenter application to present your research in the Inspire Research Symposium. All applications are due by 11:59 pm on September 13, 2026.
All are welcome to attend the symposium, no registration required.
All abstracts must be approved by students’ primary mentors before submission. Please note that we will verify this with your mentor.
When completing the application, you will be asked to provide the following information:
- Lead Presenter Information (name, email, college, department, student ID)
- Co-presenter Information (name, email, college, department, student ID)
- Mentor Information (name, email, and affiliation).
- Presentation Information (title and mentor-approved abstract)
- Maximum Character Limits: Titles (100 including spaces), Abstracts (1500 including spaces, formatted as a single paragraph without sections or citations)
- Note: Abstracts without faculty/primary mentor approval will not be accepted, students should have mentor approval before submission.

FAQs
What size posters are allowed?
Posters should be no wider than 48 inches and no taller than 36 inches to fit on our boards.
Do I need to register to attend the symposium?
Only poster presenters need to register. All other attendees do not need to register to attend.
Who can attend the symposium?
Anyone who is interested in research.
Where is the Coastal Ballroom?
The Coastal Ballroom is on the 3rd floor of Talley Student Union on the spire side of the building.
