Move-In Activities and Events

Prior to the first day of classes, the WISE Program hosts multiple move-in activities and events. During the these events and activities, Villagers begin to get a taste of what it’s like to be a woman in STEM. They also have an opportunity to not only meet each other and their upper-class mentor for the first time, but also spend quality time interacting and laying the foundation upon which future relationships can form. In addition, Villagers discuss academics, college life, and explore ways to balance it all. The WISE move-in activities ultimately provide WISE Villagers with the essential knowledge and resources to navigate the first several weeks of their first year at NC State.

University Housing will implement a phased move-in process in order to minimize the number of residents moving in at any single time. Move-in will be by appointment. Please regularly review all email communication from University Housing for specific instructions.

WISE will be hosting move-in activities and events throughout move-in. There will be plenty of activities and events for you to participate in, regardless of which day you decide to move-in!
